Brand-New Artwork - from the upcoming graphic-novel Antlers of Reason: The Disquieting Cocteaus

Their agony was that of a newly-born
who carries the guilt of centuries…
Of self-inflicted carvings still to come…

The Two reached the last stretch
of what could never be confessed…
Together, they felt determined
to take such knowledge further and further…

Ahead of their eroded steps
was a shared mineral memory…

So call it fate

or natural selection

but a selected few

Further Additions To The Trilogy

The cast of The Thalus Trilogy is now officially complete as actors Alice Carder and Alexandre Guedes de Sousa join the ranks.
Carder plays Lady Gwen Greene, a pivotal character who makes her first brief appearance in Antlers of Reason II: Morning Interim and returns in the final instalment, Antlers of Reason III: Nether Edge Temptress, taking a more central, dual role.

Guedes de Sousa, a regular in João Paulo Simões's films, is to play Lucas - the ultimate mystery man who will reveal himself to be more than instrumental in both films.

The inclusion of this character is the first major cross-over in the Director's filmography, as he first appeared in Torpor (2003) and is soon to be seen again in Torpor Revisited (2009).

Expect a brand-new preview of the second Antlers of Reason film soon...

Our Lady of Antlers

Captüra Filmes, Rear Entrance Films and Cinema Livre are proud to announce the prestigious addition of Pamela Green to the cast of the Thalus Trilogy.

She will take on the role of Lorna Melville in a crucial flashback sequence of Antlers of Reason III: Nether Edge Temptress. In true Antlers tradition, the segment in question will be assembled from still imagery infused with a sense of erotic foreboding. This time around, a nostalgic tone will be emphasised by the use of archive material personally authorized by Pamela herself.
Notoriously known as the iconic pin-up figure in Michael Powell's 1960 masterpiece Peeping Tom, Pamela appeared in a variety of British films whilst simultaneously establishing herself as a prolific model in the 60's and 70's.
Her images, produced in effective partnership with such popular photographers of the time as Douglas Webb and George Harrison Marks, are now much sought-after collector's items and can be ordered from:
